WOW Updates

We've been a bit remiss in posting!  So let me get you caught up.

We're taking time off in October to plan for our First Anniversary Event to be held on November 10th.  So save the date and stay tuned for more details!  It's going to be a lot of fun.

WOW would like to welcome Debra Hartley of Precision Admin Solutions as our administrative assistant.  Debra is an awesome virtual assistant and we look forward to having her help with our WOW planning.

WOW now has an online Member Forum board.  Think of it as an online coffee bar.  Visit when you want.  This is the place where members can post and talk about business, chat with other members, and talk about anything that comes to mind including books, entertainment, food and recipes.  We'll also have guest writers who'll share their expertise with our members.  There's also a member business directory and a place for member-to-member discounts and special offers.  Current members will be receiving an e-mail inviting them to join the online forum. 

And we're planning a mini-series of members-only events.  I think you're going to enjoy these.....the feedback so far has been great, so stay tuned.  These will be totally fun!

One last thing--we're forming an informal member advisory board.  Just to give us feedback on events and what other things you'd like to see with WOW.  If you'd like to be part of the board, let us know.  You'll be the first to hear about some of our plans and try out some of our new "things" we have planned.  I promise no extra meetings or hard labor.....

The Campbells are continuing to grow their business and are hoping to provide the rest of the world with a quality Hawaii-made product.

Of course, this is also Pacific Edge Magazine's 4th Annual Weddings and Events issue and the content is more extensive than ever. Our 4th annual resource features a variety of local companies that specialize in making Hawaii events memorable. A Special Event for WOW Members - High Tea!!

Pet lovers rejoice!  Our April WOW event will be held at 55 Pawsh Place in Kapolei, home of the greatest little pet boutique!  Mark your calendars and plan to join us on Wednesday, April 21st, 5:30-8:00 p.m.  Guests will enjoy an evening of complimentary pupus and wine and the opportunity to network with fellow business community members.

Join the WOW Network In Supporting The Rotary Club of Kapolei

This month, the West Oahu Women's Social and Business Network (WOW Network Hawaii) plans to hold our monthly networking event to support The Rotary Club of Kapolei's "An Evening at Lanikuhonua" on Saturday evening, March 13th from 6-9 PM at Ko Olina Resort & Marina.  This great event will provide our WOW Network members with the opportunity to mingle with The Rotary Club of Kapolei's members and guests while supporting a great cause.

We hope to fill several tables at this event with the fabulous WOW Network women and their guests.  You will enjoy food from Roy's, Don Ho's and Formaggio's as well as wine-tasting, beer sampling and live entertainment!

A Simply Wonderful Event!

MAHALO to everyone who came out to our January WOW event at Simply Organized in Kapolei!!  With 100 people in attendance, there was definitely a lot of great networking going on.  Attendees were treated to a fun-filled evening of organizing tips, product demonstrations, prizes, special shopping and complimentary pupus and wine.

We'd like to once again thank our hosts at Simply Organized.  They put on a fabulous event and guests commented on all the wonderful ideas and products to help them get their homes and offices in order.  For many guests, this was their first visit to the store and they were amazed with all there was to offer.

We congratulate Simply Organized on their store's first anniversary and wish them all the best!  We're glad WOW could help you celebrate!

WOW Wednesday Jan 13th!

Our WOW event for Wednesday January 13th is shaping up to be a grand event!  Right now we have  around 100 people who have RSVP'd to attend our event hosted by Simply Organized in Kapolei.  We're looking forward to seeing each and every one of you!  There's going to be a LOT of awesome networking and some fun shopping available--and prizes!  I can't wait to hear the tips from business coach Angelina Campos and the organizational tips from professional organizer Kelly Galvin.  I can't wait to meet new people!!  I can't wait to introduce YOU to some of my friends and associates.  It's going to be so fun!  Remember to bring lots of business cards!
